Original U.S. WWII Army Air Force Aviator Flight Set - B-6 Helmet, A-10 Oxygen Mask, B-7 Goggles, Throat Microphone

Original Items: Only One Set Available. Amazing set offered in wonderful condition and is comprised of the following items-

- Original WWII USAAF B-6 Winter Flying Helmet - Size Large. Standardized on 15 September 1941 these helmets saw widespread use and this example is in excellent condition. The brown finished shearling leather is soft with no damage. It is fitted with correct hooks in for use with A-9 and A-10 oxygen masks as well as the later snaps for use with the A-10R or A-10A masks. It comes fully wired with R-14 receivers fitted with correct Y loom and PL-54 jack plug. Inside is shearling lined and fitted with nice USAAF label that indicates a 1942 contract date. This pattern was replaced in 1943 by the AN-H-16. No size shown but we estimate size large. Drawstrings still in place and perfect shearling covered chin strap and buckles. Excellent condition - hard to find nicer example.

- Original WWII USAAF Type A-10 Oxygen Mask. A very scarce example of comprised of green rubber with issue stamps and dated July 1943. The mask retains face tube, hose, filters and bladder. Come sin original box with packet of spare parts.

- Original WWII U.S. Army Air Force USAC Type B-7 Flying Goggles
By The Chas Fischer Spring Co.  US Army Air Corps type B-7 flying goggles.  Excellent nickel plated brass frames with integral 'streamlined' vents.  Stamped 'USAC Goggle, Type B-7' on the center hinge.  Fitted with an excellent set of American Optical clear glass lenses and the correct two-piece sponge rubber face cushions.  These remain flexible and are excellent shape The original strap is a little stretched but retains some elasticity.

- Original WWII USAAF T-30 throat microphone
The microphone comes with a rubber neckpiece and integral wiring loom with PL-291 2-pin jack plug. Also fitted with an elastic neckband (M-199). The throat microphone is in excellent condition with storage wear only although the strap lacks elasticity. Many AAF oxygen masks were worn without an integral microphone and these throat microphones were used instead. They were also used by aircrews wearing headsets, often over 'crusher' caps.
