Original Items: Only One Set Available. World War Two United States Army Air Force A-10A summer flying helmet in size large manufactured by Bates Shoe Company. Khaki cotton twill flying helmet with black rubber ear pieces that hold H-79/AIC Telephone Receivers. The inner forehead section and headphone cups are lined with chamois leather. The helmet has three leather loops on the rear to retain goggles. Two of these loops are secured with press studs. There is a buckle and snap fastening chin strap with velour padding. Brass press stud fittings for an oxygen mask are also present. Offered in excellent condition.
Also included is a pair of H.B. Rocket Aviator Goggles with rare blue tint glass lenses. The googles are offered in very good to excellent condition. These goggles alone are worth over $300.
