Original Items: One-of-a-kind set. This is a collection compiled by U.S. Air Force Major Walter H. Berry who served in the 30th Air Division during before his retirement in the late 1960s. This collection of official U.S. Government photos, many of them classified at the time they were printed, consist of U.S. and German aircraft from World War Two and U.S. Aircraft from the 1950s and 1960s. The airplane types are too numerous to mention all but include B-17s, B-24, a German WW2 flying wing, scores of German and American WWII fighters, post war jets, prototypes, crashes and wrecks and much more. In all nearly one hundred mostly 8 x 10 photographs printed on original vintage paper are neatly organized in three large ring binders. This is a rare and unique collection complied by an U.S. Air Force officer over the course of his career from WW2 to the Vietnam War.
