Original U.S. WWII Amy Officer Wool Felt Visor Service Cap named to Lt. Col. A.A. Arter by Berkshire Deluxe

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice high quality WWII Army Officer visor cap, in very nice olive green wool felt, with an OD Green band. The cap is outfit with high quality brown finished leather, including the visor, chin strap, and sweatband. This cap even has a strap that goes around the back to tighten up the fit if needed.
The cap features the correct U.S. Army Eagle on the front of the cap, and matching chin strap buttons. The celluloid sweat shield on the inside is intact, however it has turned orange, as they often do. However we can still make out the makers name of BERKSHIRE DELUXE, a known maker of WWII service caps.
The pocket on the sweat shield still contains a card giving information about the owner:

The interior leather sweatband is in great condition, and is stamped with size 7 1/8 on the underside. Condition of the cap is very good overall, with a bit of mothing on the crown, and a great look. A very nice example, ready to research and display!
