Original U.S. WWII Airborne Name Tape Set with Flag - Kehoe

Item Description

Original Items. One-of-a-Kind Group. This is a lovely set of name tapes and invasion arm flag belonging to a paratrooper named Kehoe. This certainly allows for further research, as there are likely a few Kehoe’s who served during the war.

The lot consists of two nametapes bearing the name KEHOE and one invasion arm flag.

This type of arm flag was typically used by U.S. Paratroopers for example in North Africa (1942), during the D-Day invasion in Normandy (June 1944), the invasion of Southern France, and during Operation Market Garden (September 1944). The flag was typically fixed to the uniform jacket arm. This one shows some staining and is not entirely cut on the left side.

There is some staining across both of the nametapes, but they are the correct style used during WWII. One is 3½” and the other is 3¼”.

Comes ready for further research and display.
