Original Items: One-of-a-kind set. Lieutenant Donal S. Jones ASN O-826184 was a member of the United States Army Air Force assigned to the 8th Air Force during World War Two. However, in 1937 he attended the 5th World Scout Jamboree in Vogelenzang, Bloemendaal in the Netherlands. The Jamboree was opened on July 31, 1937 by Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands, with 28,750 Scouts from 54 countries attending. The Janboree was held 2 years before Germany launched World War II and HJ groups were invited to attend. This collection is of multiple material from the Jamboree including a scrap book with dozens of original photos, HJ material which was clearly traded to collect, pamphlets and hand outs. Also included are captured materials from the war.
