Original Item. One-of-a-Kind. This is an outstanding display set that is already mounted on a display board. This board has several vital components of the oxygen system, electric suit, and other amenities aviators would have aboard their B-17/B-24 bombers.
This set shows how the G-1 Crew Oxygen Tank would connect to the rest of the aircraft’s oxygen system, with the tank connecting to the Oxygen regulator and the Oxygen cycling pressure & flow indicator gauges. The board also has an AAF First Aid kid (empty), a Bomber Air Crew Crash Escape Axe, an Electric Flight suit voltage toggle board, and a Jackbox for communication. The entire display measures roughly 24"L x 48"W x 13"H, with the height coming from the Oxygen tank. This is a very professionally put-together set that would be welcome in any WWII AAF Collection.
There are stenciled markings denoting each item, and each piece is very securely attached to the board.
