Item: ONSV5950
Original U.S. WWII AAF Gunner's Safety Belt An 7508-1 in Box - Unissued
- Original Item: Only One Available. This restraint strap system was developed specifically for waist gunners on heavy bombers (B-17, B-24, etc.). It was designed to be fastened to the interior of the aircraft to give more stability to gunners. This little-known item adds the final touches to USAAF bomber crew displays. We should also mention that this version is much harder to find then the A-3 strap. Offered as New Old Stock and comes complete in the original box which is nicely marked. This was manufactured by COMPANION BAGS and is dated 1945.
