Original Item. Only One Available. This is a very good condition rare WWII Browning .50 Caliber machine gun ammunition box for aircraft. Research indicates this was an ammo box that was used by tail gunners on the B-17 bomber and perhaps others as well. The box measures 18 ½ x 19 x 6 ½”.

There is no roller inside and some pieces are missing. There is no handle on the lid, but both latches still work fine despite oxidation. The handles on the front and back are retained.
