Original Items: One-of-a-kind grouping. Major Marvin Sather was a member of the 399th Armored Field Artillery Battalion, Battery B.

During his military service, Sather received the following awards and citations: Purple Heart Medal, Presidential Unit Citation, American Defense Service Medal, American Campaign Medal, European Campaign Medal with Three Battle Stars, Ardennes Campaign, Rhineland Campaign, Central Europe Campaign, WW II Victory Medal, Army of Occupation Medal (Germany), and the Honorable Service Medal. There is loads of research about Major Sather and his service in Eurpe available online, even a photo of him in the field!

Included in the excellent grouping are the following:

• 2 x Class A service tunics with 8th armored division shoulder patches.
• one tunic also has the following:
• Major rank gold oak leafs.
• 399th Armored Field Artillery Battalion enamel pins.
• Medal Ribbons: Purple Heart Medal, Presidential Unit Citation, American Defense Service Medal, American Campaign Medal, European Campaign Medal with Three Bronze Stars.
