Original Item. Only One Available. This is a gorgeous “European Theater of Operations” or ETO Jacket manufactured in 1944 by the Rego Clothiers Ltd. for a Lieutenant Colonel of the 8th Air Force. The jacket has all period-applied insignia, and is in great condition overall.
The jacket has an 8th Air Force patch on the left shoulder with five bullion overseas stripes on the left cuff. There are stitched bullion Lieutenant Colonel leaves on the shoulder straps. On the left breast is a stitched blue “combat crew” field with bullion pilot’s wings on top. This is very rare to find on any uniform. The interior under the collar has the stamped serial number H-020525 twice. The interior retains the tag:
