Original U.S. WWII 7x50 New Old Stock Unissued M7 Binoculars with Case in Original Box by Bausch & Lomb and Spare Fitler in Box - Dated 1941

Item Description

Original Item: Only One Available. This is the greatest set of M7 Binoculars we have ever offered! These are NEW OLD STOCK never issued! The M7 was a version of the large 7x50 binoculars used by the U.S. Military during WWII. They were known for their nice wide field, and were used by all branches. Post war, many of these were painted OD Green, including the leather case and neck strap, but this example was spared and is in unissued condition in its original shipping box, with the original company label and U.S. Navy acceptance stamp! This set also comes with a like-new Filter, Variable Density for the 7x50 Binoculars in its original box still wrapped in red foil.

This example is marked clearly on the left plate with 7 X 50 , and the right plate is marked with manufacturer and date: U.S. NAVY, BU. SHIPS MARK 2 MOD.2 NO.29821, 1941 with the Bausch & Lomb logo below it reading BAUSCH & LOMB OPT. CO ROCHESTER NY U.S.A.

The case is in fantastic condition with all straps in mint unissued condition, and two spare filters secured under the lid. The case measures 7¼ x 8¼ x 4”. The original shipping box has a label for the Binoculars which is partially faded reading

MADE IN U.S.A. BY

The shipping box measures 8¾ x 4½ x 9½”. The box for the variable density filter measures 5¼ x 3¾ x 1¼”. The filter is manufactured by the Beck-Lee Corporation and is in great shape overall.

This is an extremely scarce set, probably one of VERY few examples still in the original shipping box. It comes ready for further research and display, don’t miss it.
