  • Original Item: Only One Available. This is the greatest set of M7 Binoculars we have ever offered! These are NEW OLD STOCK never issued! The M7 was a version of the large 7x50 binoculars used by the U.S. Military during WWII. They were known for their nice wide field, and were used by all branches. Post war, many of these were painted OD Green, including the leather case and neck strap, but this example was spared and is in unissued condition in its original shipping box, with the original Anchor Optical Corporation company label and U.S. Navy acceptance stamp! This set also comes with a scarce original Binocular Blinker Tube in its original box, and a box of spare filters with a package date of February 1945.

This example is marked clearly on the left plate with 7 X 50, and the right plate is marked with manufacturer and date:

    U.S. NAVY BU. SHIPS
    MARK 32 MOD. 7
    N 241300-1943
    ANCHOR
    OPTICAL
    CORPORATION
    NEW YORK, N.Y.

The case is in good overall shape with a good bit of verdigris from age. The case is marked HOOD B12 on the bottom. The small insert under the lid still has its spare piece.

The Binocular Blinker-Tube is in its original box labeled:

    ONE
    BINOCULAR BLINKER-TUBE TYPE
    U.S.N. SPEC. 17B15 (INT)
    MODEL A-2071
    DELTA ELECTRIC COMPANY
    MARION INDIANA USA

There are instructions for its use under the lid, and it comes complete ready for use with the binoculars. We have not tested it to see if it still works. The box measures 10" x 4¾" x 2½”. The binoculars also come with its original strap for the case and a spare strap for the binoculars.

The case is in fantastic condition with all straps in mint unissued condition, and two spare filters secured under the lid. The case measures 7¼ x 8¼ x 4”. The original shipping box has a label for the Binoculars which is partially faded, reading:-

    PRISM
    BINOCULAR
    7X50
    ANCHOR OPTICAL CORPORATION
    111 EIGHTH AVENUE
    NEW YORK, N.Y.
    U.S.A.
    CONTRACT NXss-38937

The shipping box measures 9" x 10" x 5½”. The box for the variable density filter measures 5¼" x 3¾" x 1¼”. This is a phenomenal set of unissued WWII binoculars, ready for further research and display.
