Original U.S. WWII 63rd Infantry Division Bronze Star Recipient Bring Back Collection

Item Description

Original Item: One-of-a-kind set. Master Sergeant Louis Beaumont army serial number 32055753, born April 16th, 1919, was from Hopatcong, New Jersey. He was the recipient of the bronze star and fought in Rhineland Central Europe campaign as a member of the 254th Infantry Regiment, 63rd Infantry Division.

This collection was sent home in a wooden German FLAK ammunition box addressed to:

Inside the box are the following items:
• Original period paperwork including- Honorable Discharge, Bronze Star Certificate, Record of Separation, rank certificate to Technical Sergeant dated 1942, numerous 63rd division Extracts from 1942-1944, and much more.
• Original period photo of Beaumont with his officers and other NCOs of 254th Infantry Regiment, 63rd Infantry Division all wearing camouflage one piece coveralls, note the 63rd Infantry Division jacket hanging in the background!
• Copy of a photo of Beaumont at Camp Van Dorn in 1944.
• Original regimental photo with Beaumont at Camp Claiborne Louisiana, dated May 1942.
• Original WW2 HBT camouflage one piece coverall. This type of uniform was briefly used during the Normandy invasion & for a short period after before it was withdrawn. This camo pattern was very similar to the German type & there were some instances of friendly fire casualties. This type of coverall was issued to some Army Rangers as well as members of The 2nd Armored Division. The size is stamped below the collar 38R. Offered in very good condition.
• Original WW2 Ike jacket with a 63rd Infantry Division patch on left shoulder, Master Sergeant chevrons, ruptured duck patch, and the following medal ribbons: American Defense Ribbon, American Theatre Ribbon, EAME Theatre Ribbon with 2 Bronze Stars, Good Conduct Medal, Bronze Star, WWII Victory Medal. Offered in excellent condition.
• 2 x Original WW2 Garrison side caps.
• Original WW2 U.S. Army wool shirt with 63rd Infantry Division patch on left shoulder and Master Sergeant chevrons.
• WWII Bronze Star Medal in original case with original certificate.
• Louis Beaumont’s WWII dog tags
• Roll of undeveloped Ansco film that reads Develop Before 5 Sept 1946
• Roll of undeveloped German Peromnia-Film
• Book of World War II Regimental History of the 254th Infantry 63rd Division: The Trail of 254 Thru Blood & Fire
• Original U.S. WWII Garand short bayonet with scabbard. Good Condition.
• Original WWII German M42 helmet complete with liner in shell size 66cm in very good condition.
• Original WWII German Army Heer Peaked NCO visor cap in size 56cm. Good condition, with some moth nips.
• Original WWII German Small National Party flag with Swas (11 x 8). Good Condition.
• Original WWII German 98k bayonet dated 1941 with bakelite grip and matching serial. Excellent condition. Matching numbers on blade and scabbard (4234), with leather frog. Excellent condition.
• Original WWII German Eikhorn Fireman’s Bayonet. Excellent condition.

This is a truly amazing and exceptional bring back collection of a decorated American hero from World War Two.
