They would eventually attach to the 17th Airborne Division and spearhead the division's assault in Operation Varsity. Fought at the Battle of the Bulge. This book chronicles their early stateside training, with a largely pictorial account of their efforts accompanied by brief narratives, posed and captioned portraits by company, images of the men at work and leisure, etc. Full roster with ID's group photos. Not a combat history, but a scarce stateside airborne unit book with some great content.
