  • Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice cotton construction World War Two Era American Flag, complete with halyard still attached to both ends. The rope is threaded through a wooden pole end, which would be used to attach the flag to some type of pole or other mounting. The general rule of thumb is that cotton flags were issued during WWII, while nylon flags were issued during the Korean War.

Flags made before WWII were made of a wool blend. This flag features dyed individual stars and stitched together stripes, with a nice canvas header. Condition is excellent, with no real issues to speak of. There is a faded red #313 marking on the header, but we do not know what significance it has. The flag measures a very displayable 33" x 58".
