  • Original Item: Only One Available. Now this is a lovely early war example of a unit painted US M1 Liner ! The decal applied to the side is for the First United States Army, Ordnance. First Army is the oldest and longest-established field army of the United States Army. It served as a theater army, having seen service in both World War I and World War II, and supplied the US army with soldiers and equipment during the Korean War and the Vietnam war under some of the most famous and distinguished officers of the U.S. Army. It now serves as a mobilization, readiness and training command.

The liner is the correct high pressure WWII issue and stamped with the Firestone Manufacturing Company F logo stamped in the crown. The liner is fitted with a frontal eyelet, and features OD#3 (aka Khaki) web HBT suspension fitted by blacked A-Washers. The liner sweatband appears to be a later dark green example. The liner chinstrap is retained and in good shape overall. F22 is painted on the interior.

The paint on the liner is heavily cracking, especially the decal. There was once another decal on the front but it’s mostly gone.

Great liner ready for further research and display!
