Poster shows marines storming an island beach with a smoking bunker behind them, along with shoulder sleeve insignia for the 4th Marine Division, the Fifth Marine Amphibious Corps, and the 4th Marine Air Wing. The poster reads:

    THE MARSHALLS
    The Marshalls, first pre-war Japanese territory to be conquered in World War II, fell to Marine and Army troops in February, 1944. Fourth Division Marines crushed the enemy on Roi and Namur atolls, while the 22nd Marines drove to victory at Eniwetok.
