Original Item: Only One Available. This is an excellent example of an original USMC marked near mint musette bag. The musette bag is a scarce item that is part of the Marine Corps 782 gear. Light tan canvas construction, with slightly darker OD Green #3 canvas trim. It is U.S.M.C. marked under the flap. It is complete with proper shoulder strap and sliding canvas shoulder supports. This unique piece of equipment can be worn as a knapsack or shoulder bag, and is maker marked and dated on the inside:

The bag is in mint unissued condition with virtually no flaws. The snap on the bottom is still in place and in great condition. All buckles are present and the straps work like new. This is a very scarce piece of WWII USMC field gear, ready for further research and display.
