Original U.S. WWII 1943 Dated M1 Carbine Leather Scabbard by Froehlich Company

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a nice example of the rare WWII Vehicle Scabbard for the U.S. M1 Carbine that is in a remarkable state of preservation. It is U.S. marked, manufactured by S. Froehlich Company, Inc. and dated 1943. The scabbard shows signs of being honestly used, the leather is still light tan throughout and the deep black finish is still present on all metal parts. This example shows some expected light wear to the exterior of the leather, as expected after decades in storage, The original securing straps are still intact and unbroken, and are complete with the original snap hooks.

These were used to attached to jeeps, motorcycles, horses and other transportation equipment. M1 carbine versions are exceptionally hard to find, this is an ideal specimen for the Carbine or vehicle collector alike!
