Original Items: Only One Lot Available. This is a very nice grouping of six original U.S. medical and first aid items dating from WWI through the 1920s. The lot includes two U.S. Army first aid packet tins, two individual dressing packets, one packet of absorbent cotton, and one tourniquet and forceps set.

The grouping offers an interesting cross-section of American military and emergency medical equipment produced by several well-known manufacturers during and shortly after WWI. Most pieces retain their original packaging, contract information, and printed labels, making the lot particularly appealing for display alongside a medic’s kit, field hospital grouping, or early American medical collection.

The two metal first aid packet tins are especially desirable surviving examples of the compact emergency dressings carried by U.S. military personnel during WWI. The additional paper-wrapped dressings and cotton packet help illustrate the broader range of consumable medical supplies used during the period.

The 1924 Davis Emergency Equipment Co. tourniquet and forceps packet extends the grouping into the immediate postwar period and provides an interesting comparison with the WWI-dated material.

Condition varies by item, with expected age, handling wear, discoloration, staining, and packaging deterioration. One 1916 first aid packet has a partially pulled opening tab, while the August 1918 packet remains sealed. All items should be reviewed carefully in the accompanying photographs.
