Original Item. Only One Available. This is a fine example of a very scarce WWI poster designed by Lawrence Wilbur, depicting an American Ambulance in the field in France with two stretcher-bearers carrying a wounded soldier to it. An American flag is flown to the right with artillery explosions overhead. The poster measures 27 x 40¾”.
The poster is in fair condition with some damage as shown. There is a piece missing on the top left side, a small star sticker has been placed on the cross, and there is general staining and wear across the poster. This would look great framed. The poster was printed by the W.F. Powers Company Lithograph of New York.
