Original Items. One-of-a-Kind Group. This is a lovely WWI Navy uniform grouping belonging to a D.M. Remer, a photographer’s mate 3rd class in the Navy during the First World War. The group comes with a white Navy uniform jacket & trousers named to Remer, his white navy cap, and two navy flat hats.
The group contains:
- Navy White jumper named on bottom edge D.M. REMER. Left sleeve has a great embroidered Photographer’s Mate rate. Tie is included. One shoulder has navy blue trim, for a reason we’ve unsure of.
- Navy white jumper trousers, named twice on waist.
- Navy white flat hat, named twice on interior but not to Remer.
- Two Navy flat hats, one is the later smaller variant with US NAVY tally, second is the larger version named on the interior (not to Remer) with damage to the tally.
A fantastic Navy photographer’s uniform, ready to display.
