Original U.S. WWI Named Pilot Aero Squadron Uniform Set

Original Items: Only One Set Available. This is a very high quality officer uniform set which belonged to Lieutenant Kenneth A. MacGowan who was a pilot assigned to the Aviation Section, U.S. Signal Corps. The set is comprised of the following pieces:

- Original excellent condition heavy wool four pocket tunic with cotton lining. Aero insignia on left shoulder with wonderful embroidered pilots wings, WWI Victory Medal ribbon with two combat stars and the Croix de Guerre medal ribbon. Features Lieutenant bars on each shoulder and Aviation Section propeller insignia collar tabs and well as correct U.S. eagle buttons. Overall condition is excellent and it is approximately a size US 38.

- Original Wool overseas garrison side cap with Lieutenant bar and Aviation Section propeller insignia.

- Original WWI Dog Tags with cord that read:


- Copy of original passenger list for the ship SS Louisville with American Officers  listed including 2nd Lieutenant Kenneth A. MACGOWAN of Florida.

Overall a high quality excellent condition Aviation Section, U.S. Signal Corps named officer pilot set that is documented as having served overseas during WWI.
