Original Item: Only One Available. This is a high quality excellent condition Great War Model 1912 United States Army Officer Visor Cap in size 7, as marked by a label on the back of the sweatband. The cap features an OD Green wool body, with a light braided officer hat band. It has lovely darkened officer hat badge and buttons, which hold the leather chin strap in place.
The brown leather covered fiber visor is in very good condition, with some degradation of the edge covering. The inside lining is present, but it does have wear and shows a lot of tearing. It does have an intact plastic sweatguard diamond on the top, and the leather sweatband is intact, though the stitching holding it on is rotted out in some areas.
This is a high quality American officer's hat from World War One, ready to display!
