  • Original Item. Only One Available. Adopted in 1908, the U.S. M1907 suspenders were designed to support the weight of a cartridge belt, primarily for mounted troops and soldiers who did not carry the M1910 haversack. These replaced the earlier M1903 suspenders, providing a more effective way to carry ammunition and equipment in conjunction with the haversack.

This is a well-worn set of the extremely scarce M1907 Suspenders manufactured by Mills. The set is in good service-used condition with a lovely field repair at one end, where the soldier wrapped a small piece of cloth around the affected area and stitched it in with around 6 rows of stitching. The MILLS logo is very faint but still retained, and next to the logo is a stenciled name, very difficult to read but reading NEBRASKA for the state guard in which it was used. The metal end pieces have the logo along with patent information.

This is the first set of these rare suspenders we have offered. Comes ready for further research and display with your mannequin!
