Original Items: Only One Set Available. Excellent condition dark brown leather saddle bags with US oval on each flap. Each bag is equipped with the correct and original white canvas removable liners. Nicely maker stamped ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL 1918. The top of the harness is nicely stamped 156 FA.
Overall condition is excellent with complete correct straps as seen in the product photos.
The 156th Field Artillery regiment during WWI would certainly have used horses for multiple purses including moving filed guns and ammunition.
