Original Item: Only One Available. Designed for the U.S. M1903 Springfield rifle, this heavy cotton canvas case with top flap will work well with almost any rifle up to 46" inches in length. This way they were also able to be used with the M1917 "American Enfield" rifle. This high quality canvas case also has an genuine adjustable carry shoulder strap with steel fittings. The inside of the top flap is maker marked and dated:

Overall this case is in very good condition, especially considering the age and a century of storage. The inspection stamps under the flap are still mostly clear, and most of the "wear" is from storage and possible water exposure. There is a bit of oxidation around the steel fittings, but nothing major.
Springfield cases in such great condition are very difficult to find on the market today. Ready to display along with your WWI U.S. Rifles!
