M-1916 Squad Spare Parts Pouch. Unmarked.
M-1917 Bolo Knife marked “Plumb/St.Louis/ 1918” and “U.S. MOD/1917/C.T.” on the opposite. Blade shows traces of original bluing. Blade exhibits signs of use and sharpening. Sheath is marked “FRED MEDART MFG CO./1918”
Overall, all pieces are in excellent condition considering their age. Since doughboys often would ditch their M-1910 Haversacks and fight with only the bare essentials (as what is listed here), this would make for an ideal display paired with an M-1912 Tunic and M-1917 Helmet on a torso mannequin!
