Original U.S. WWI Lot of 5 Large Divisional Painted Wall Insignia - 79th Division & 82nd Division

Original Items. Only One Lot Available. This is a fantastic collection of five beautifully painted wall insignia for units of the American Expeditionary Forces. These were painted and hung in an American Legion / VFW sometime after the war. They are all in varying sizes and have holes to allow for mounting.. The insignia included are:

-The 79th Division - one of the most famous divisions of the war, featuring the Cross of Lorraine in a white bordered dark blue shield. Made up of draftees from Pennsylvania and Maryland. The paint is in fantastic condition. Only damage is a small nick to the top right corner. Measures 13¾ x 18¼”.
-The 82nd Division - one of the most famous divisions of the war, featuring the AA (All-American) insignia in a blue circle over a red square. All American was because the division included draftees from all 48 states. This is a fantastic piece! No damage but could use a cleaning! Measures 17⅞ x 18”.
-The 32nd Division - one of the most battle-torn divisions of the war, a smaller insignia, the red broad arrow. Made up of National Guardsmen from Wisconsin and Michigan. Measures 6¼ x 18½”.
-The 12th Division - one of the few stateside divisions, anything from this group is scarce. Features a 12 over a bayonet with 2 stars above and below. Measures 11 x 11¼”.
-The Liaison Service - this is a very scarce insignia for Liaison drivers who were stationed in and around France during the war. Measures 13¾ x 18”.

This is a fantastic group of insignia sure to bring much-needed color into any US WWI collection. Comes ready for display!
