Original Item. Only One Available. During WWI, the U.S. government needed money to pay for tanks, ammunition, airplanes, and ships to fight the war. The government found funding through civilians through war bonds, or Liberty Loans. This was a very effective way of getting large amounts of money quickly. This poster has a very basic “bullseye” design.
The poster, measuring 22¼ x 28¼”, was designed by S.L. Bush. It depicts a red and white target with buy liberty bonds in the center. The caption reads buy to-day at any bank.
The poster is in good shape overall but does have some damage, namely at the bottom around the caption, with some heavy scratches and light tears. There are several more small tears along the edges.
This example would look good in a frame. Comes ready to display.
Note: This poster will be shipped rolled.
