Regular price $395.00

Item Description

Original Item: Only One Available. This propaganda poster was issued jointly by the U.S. Employment Service and the Department of Labor. It's an eye-catching image that depicts a group of brave Marines charging into battle with flags flying high overhead. The poster also features a badge that commemorates the battles in which these soldiers participated, including Cantony, Chateau Thierry, St. Mihiel, Argonne, and Marne. The artwork was created by the talented artist Dan Smith and is part of a small collection of posters that aimed to help soldiers adjust to civilian life after the war.

This unrestored poster has preserved its bright colors and clean appearance, making it a rare find. However, it may show some general signs of use such as slight edge wear, light creases, pinholes, or minor tears once viewed unframed (we left it in the frame). Despite these signs of wear, this poster is a treasured piece of history that serves as a reminder of the bravery and sacrifice of our Marines and soldiers.

Comes more than ready for further research and display.
