Original U.S. WWI Army Air Service Airplane Wooden Propeller Half

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a genuine U.S. World War One wood propeller half that has been mounted on a base in order to stand upright. It stands 56 tall and is 10 at its widest point.
This wonderful propeller features 9-ply construction of laminated Mahogany, the typical wood used at the time, nice brass tips, an extensive engraving, beautiful wood grain and finish. Engraved into the prop is an Army Air Service Insignia. The 3 visible bolt holes indicate that it was original for an 8 bolt hole large shaft engine. We believe this propeller was manufactured around 1918-19. We do not have an aircraft match for this prop.
Overall a really wonderful and impressive piece, just perfect for an office or man cave.
