  • Original Items. One-of-a-Kind. This is the most tremendous set of trench art “Clogs” we have offered, both completely covered in writing. This set was put together by Henry Herman Bosch, Machine Gun Company, 348th Infantry Regiment, as is marked on the bottom of one clog.

The left clog has the 87th Division insignia painted on with ACORN DIVN. above it. The side of the clog bears the names of soldiers who died overseas in France and the men who were transferred out. The bottom of the clog has the record of the division, with Bosch’s personal record and diary of travel from enlistment to the end of the war. The right clog has the names of 100+ men signed on it, with many unique & silly looking signatures. They covered every spot on the clog besides the interior!

This is a truly phenomenal set, ready for further research and display!
