Original U.S. WWI 14-CM. Signal Lamp Type EE-6 with Battery Case & Instruction Manual by Delta

Original Item. Only One Available. This is a very scarce WWI Signal lamp set including the signal lamp with the original leather battery case with the original batteries inside, and the instruction manual.
This was a signal lamp that saw heavy use in France in the final year of the war. The lamp is in good shape and has a maker’s label for Delta inside the lid. The bulb is still present and the wire is still connecting it to the battery case, although the wire is heavily worn and almost broken in several spots, however even if it were complete this would never work with the current batteries.
The battery pouch is in great shape with the plug still connected on the side. The original carrying strap and the two belt loops on the reverse are still present, and in good shape. The pouch still retains its four battery packs which are wired up to the case. This case would have been worn on the belt of the user.
Also included is the original instructional manual which is in rough shape but still has a lot of great information. This is a fantastic WWI Signal lamp set, the first we have ever offered, ready for further research and display.
