Original Item. Only One Available. The TMM-1 is a circular, metal-cased, Yugoslavian anti-tank blast mine. It is a direct copy of the German Tellermine 43. The mine has a central fuze well that is covered by a screw on pressure plate. Two secondary fuze well are fitted to the side and bottom of the mine allowing the installation of anti-handling devices. Like all deactivated ordnance, this mine is Not Available for Export.
This is an inert TMM-1 replica mine, built by the United States in order to train their troops on how to deactivate live mines in Vietnam. The mine is totally inert and hollow. There is still a stencil, TMM-1 on the side. This example is in fair condition with just some minor paint loss. The original handle is still attached.
The mine measures roughly 12¼” in diameter and is around 3½” tall. This is a good example, and a great display piece! Comes ready for further research and display.
