  • Original Item: Only One Available. This is a Vietnam War United States Navy Admiral's visor cap in tropical khaki. It features a wool topped leather visor with bullion oak leaf embroidery and an American eagle cap badge with a gold chinstrap. The sweatband is embossed BANCROFT ZEPHYR in gold, the leather sweatband is in good supple condition but has come unattached from the cap for about 50% of the circumference. Size is approximately 7 3/8 (59cm). The cap is in very good condition overall, with some staining to the fabric but no damage or holes. There is an original paper name tag that reads:

    RADM R. D. NAUMAN, MC, USN
    CO, NARMC
    PENSACOLA, FL 32512

    Rear Adm. Richard D. Nauman assumed command of NARMC in Pensacola, Florida in 1977. Admiral visor caps from the Vietnam War are difficult to find!
