Original U.S. Vietnam War Navy Named Rear Admiral Tropical Khaki Peaked Visor Cap

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a Vietnam War United States Navy Admiral's visor cap in tropical khaki. It features a wool topped leather visor with bullion oak leaf embroidery and an American eagle cap badge with a gold chinstrap. The sweatband is embossed BANCROFT ZEPHYR in gold, the leather sweatband is in good supple condition but has come unattached from the cap for about 50% of the circumference. Size is approximately 7 3/8 (59cm). The cap is in very good condition overall, with some staining to the fabric but no damage or holes. There is an original paper name tag that reads:

Rear Adm. Richard D. Nauman assumed command of NARMC in Pensacola, Florida in 1977. Admiral visor caps from the Vietnam War are difficult to find!
