Original Items: Only Ones Available. An original set of Vietnam War U.S. Issue M-1956 Load Bearing Equipment. This is The issue set, as used by servicemen of all branches during the Vietnam Conflict.
This set consists of the following pieces:
- Pair of M-1956 Universal Ammunition Pouches. Used to carry M-14 or M-16 Magazines. Both pouches are dated 1962.
- Late Issue M-36 Pistol Belt. This belt dates to the mid-late 1950s. As used in Vietnam. Markings are illegible.
- Original U.S. M1956 Vietnam Era Entrenching Tool Shovel Cover with shovel, great shape overall. Not dated but marked with contract stamps.
- M-6 Bayonet by MILPAR-COL. With K-M8A1 Scabbard. Attached to shovel cover.
- M1956 Canteen cover with snaps. The plastic canteen is dated 1965. No cup.
- M-1956 Field Suspenders, not marked.
- M-1956 Canvas Field Pack (aka “Butt Pack”), good condition.
