Original Items: Only Ones Available. An original set of Vietnam War U.S. Issue M-1956 Load Bearing Equipment. This is The issue set, as used by servicemen of all branches during the Vietnam Conflict.
This set consists of the following pieces:
- Pair of M-1956 Universal Ammunition Pouches. Used to carry M-14 or M-16 Magazines. Both pouches are DSA-100 Coded indicating Pre-1967 Manufacture.
- Late Issue M-36 Pistol Belt. This belt dates to the mid-late 1950s. As used in Vietnam. Markings are illegible.
- M-1956 Field Suspenders, DSA-100 Coded.
- M-6 Bayonet for the M-14 Rifle, by Imperial. With M8A1 Scabbard
- 1st Aid Dressing Pouch w/ 1967 Dated sealed Bandage
- M-1956 Canvas Field Pack (aka “Butt Pack”) , unissued condition dated 1967.
- Mess kit with Utensils. Messkit is dated 1966
- Canteen/Cup/Cover. Cover is DSA-100 coded. Canteen is dated 1966, Cup is dated 1965
