  • Original Item. Only One Available. Federal Laboratories (often FedLabs or Federal Labs) was a US firearms manufacturer, established in Pittsburgh in the early part of the 20th century[date missing], that produced tear gas and less-lethal riot guns, including the Federal Riot Gun. The company was sold in 1994, eventually becoming part of BAE Systems, and has not operated as a separate brand since that time. Not Available for Export.

This is an interesting tear gas CS grenade from the Vietnam War period. The grenade is very small, only measuring 4 ⅛” tall with a 1 ⅜” base diameter. The fuze is unmarked, and the grenade retains a torn up label:

    No. …
    FEDERAL LABS
    TEAR GAS (CS) GRENADE
    (instructions)
    Federal Laboratories, Inc.
    SALTSBURG, PENNA, U.S.A.
    Replace before JUL 1972
    Made in U.S.A.

A great example, ready for display.
