Original U.S. Early Vietnam War Era Unissued Surplus M1 Helmet Liner Nape Strap Neckband
Original Item. The M1 helmet is a combat helmet that was used by the United States military from World War II until 1985, when it was succeeded by the PASGT helmet. For over forty years, the M1 was standard issue in the U.S. military. The M1 helmet has become an icon of the American military, with its design inspiring other militaries around the world.
We have just found a nice lot of Early Vietnam war era unissued surplus M1 Helmet Liner Nape Straps or Neckbands, which were still packed in their original wrapping. Officially termed the NECKBAND HELMET LINER M1, these snap into the very rear of the M1 Helmet liner at the bottom, and are adjustable to help keep the back of the helmet from hitting the neck. In unissued condition, these will help fix up any Vietnam Era M1 liner that is missing the neck strap.
Note: Some of these are marked, but we cannot guarantee markings.
