Original Item: Only One Available. This is a United States Helicopter Flight Helmet type SPH-3B designed and made by Gentex. The helmet is in overall very good condition with the liner, headset, visor, earphones, boom microphone, and attachment cords in the back. This example is in the less common white color. Even better, it is fitted with rare "double visors", having both clear and tinted visors installed, each controlled by a different knob on the top of the helmet. Unfortunately the shield for the visors is cracked. There is some deterioration to the foam rubber components of the helmet, very common on older helmets due to the unstable rubber compounds used.
This is a rare Vietnam War era original helicopter helmet in wonderful complete condition, ready to display!
