  • Original Items: Only One Set Available. This is a fantastic example of an iconic belt rig worn by officers and NCOs alike! The set is in beautiful, slightly worn condition and even includes a full size resin prop of an M1911 pistol, something you do not encounter often with holsters. This is a wonderful opportunity to add this ready to display rig to your collection.

The M-1956 Load-Carrying Equipment (LCE), also known as the Individual Load-Carrying Equipment (ILCE), was developed by the U.S. Army and first issued in the early 1960s. The M-1956 LCE was designed to replace the M-1945 Combat Pack, the M-1923 cartridge belt, the M-1936 pistol belt and the M-1937 BAR magazine belt. The M-1956 LCE was designed to be quickly configured, using no tools, to accommodate various mission and ammunition loads. The M-1956 LCE remained in service through the 1980s and set the standard for future United States military load-carrying equipment.

    The Items Featured:
    - Black Leather M-1916 Holster: The holster is in wonderful condition and features a clear US in oval embossed on the front. The reverse still retains a manufacturer’s stamp for CATH ENTERPRISE. Featured inside of the holster is a full scale resin prop M1911 pistol. The prop does appear to have been broken in multiple spots at one point and then repaired.

    - M-1942 First Aid Case: The pouch is in wonderful condition and still retains a legible US on the front. The manufacturer information on the reverse is no longer able to be read. The pouch contains an original “COMPRESS, GAUZE, CAMOUFLAGED” bandage packet, but has a small roll of ace wrap inside to use as a filler.

    - M-1942 M1911 Pistol Ammunition Magazine Pouch: The pouch is in wonderful condition and does show signs of use but nothing extensive. The reverse does have manufacturer information present but it is too faded to be read.

A lovely iconic belt rig set that comes more than ready for further research and display.
