Original Item. Only One Available. This is a very interesting Vietnam War era blasting box which was engraved on one side with the insignia of the Master EOD, Explosive Ordnance Disposal. The bottom of the box reads HANDCRAFTED BY DAVID E. NOVAK who likely served with EOD in the Army and made this to commemorate his service.
The box may have originally been used as a blasting box, but the plunger no longer makes the sound when pulled up and pushed down, so the interior has likely been gutted. The box measures 5 x 6¾ x 11”, with the strap adding an additional 3½” to the height.
A great example for an EOD collection, ready for further research and display!
