Item Description

Original Item: Only One Available. This is genuine U.S. Government issue 24 Hours clock, made by the Chelsea Clock Co. of Boston, Mass. It has a 12 jewel, 8 day Chelsea 12E movement with a 11 jewel detachable lever escapement, sweep second hand. Fully wound these should tick for 8 days. It is mounted in a dust proof and moisture proof black plastic case with a 6" dial. It features a an hour, minute and second hand. The time is set by moving the hands forward with your finger. You should not move them backward as that will damage the movement.

U.S. GOVERNMENT

Clock face measures 6 inches in diameter. The US Army, Navy and Air Force used these clock from WW2 to the Vietnam War and were used in the field to mark the time when a message was received. Would make a perfect clock for your desk at work or at home!
