Original Item: Only One Available. Early Vietnam War era United States Army "Kit, First Aid Aeronautic," olive drab in color, marked U.S. as well as with a Red Cross and with the caduceus of the Army Medical Corps.
This Aeronautic First Aid Kit includes the carry pouch and comes complete with an assortment of medical supplies, bandages etc. The pouch and all contents are in very good condition. The zipper functions perfectly. The pouch is soft and pliable. The medical supplies are all from the 1960s and are unused. Medical supplies include: field dressings, gauze bandages, and more.
This military Aeronautic First Aid Kit was designed to be attached to the bulkhead of a fixed wing aircraft or to the dash of a rotary wing aircraft or helicopter. It has four "lift the dot" female fasteners that would secure the kit while in flight. It could be easily removed, without using any tools, if it became necessary to use the kit.
