Original Item: Only One Available. This is a totally inert non-firing full size rubber and steel Russian RPG-7B training aid developed for the U.S. Military during the Vietnam War. The rocket is full sized and removable, but does not have fins and is entirely solid. The sight is solid rubber and not functional. These were essential training props for Special Forces units in preparation for insertion into the jungle during the Vietnam War. This example was produced for the U.S. military and is exceptionally rare.
Unloaded or dummy grenades, artillery shell casings, and similar devices, which are cut or drilled in an BATF-approved manner so that they cannot be used as ammunition components for destructive devices, are not considered NFA weapons. This example is in total compliance and is NOT AVAILABLE FOR EXPORT.
This example doesn’t have any replicated markings, but the brown barrel cover is heavily embossed with the OPFOR designator DVC-T-30-005 FJ. The F.J. TSC is the location designator for the Fort Jackson Training Support Center. Training devices are three-dimensional objects and associated computer software developed, fabricated, stand alone, embedded, or appended and procured specifically for improving the learning process and to usually support the live training environment.
The rocket comes out of the barrel with friction and is a single piece, the fins do not extend and it is entirely inert, having been painted green over the original blue.
This is a wonderful example of a crucial tool that aided in the training of America’s Armed Forces. This beautiful training device comes ready to display!
