Item Description

Original Item: Only One Available. This is an excellent condition Spanish American War US Army M1895 Kepi Style Infantry Enlisted Man's Cap or Hat. This is a Navy Blue felt Kepi Style hat with a fine bullion wire embroidered insignia that reads WIS 8 for the Wisconsin Volunteers.

Inside the hat still has the original leather sweat band in very good condition. Size is approximately 6 7/8. The fine inner lining is embossed with the outline of a sliver maker emblem that faintly reads The HENDERSON AMES Co. Offered in very good condition this is a unique kepi from the turn of the 20th century.
