Item Description

Original Item: Only One Available. This is an very good condition Spanish American War US Army M1895 Kepi Style Officer's cap. This is a Navy Blue felt Kepi style hat with US Army Eagle buttons on each side. It has gilt bullion wire embroidered laurel leaf insignia with American eagle and WASH. Washington infantry regiments were 1st and 2nd infantry.

Inside the hat still has the original leather sweat band in excellent condition and is approximately a size US 7 1/8 )57cm). The fine inner lining is embossed with a sliver emblem that reads THE M.C. LILLEY & CO. Offered in very nice condition this is a unique kepi from the turn of the 20th century.
