This is an excellent Mills style Web Ammunition belt for the Krag rifle with a New York belt buckle used by troops of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 8th, 9th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 47th, 65th, 69th, and 71st New York Volunteer Infantry Regiments during the Spanish American War and the Philippine Insurrection.
The belt is a khaki web material and has spaces for 45 30/40 Krag cartridges. The finish on the belt buckle is a bit worn but has a nice patina. The web belt is soft and pliable and in fine condition with no rips, holes or fraying.
A great New York Spanish American War belt, ready for further research and display.
